Micol Ostow has written more than 40 published works, including the popular Simon Pulse romantic comedy 30 Guys in 30 Days. Her first original hardcover novel, Emily Goldberg Learns to Salsa, was named a New York Public Library Book for the Teen Age. Micol's new hybrid graphic novel project, So Punk Rock (and Other Ways to Disappoint Your Mother), released in July and features illustrations by her extremely funny, extremely cool brother, David Ostow.

At the moment, she is hard at work on new books in the Bradford series. She especially loves working on a series with an online component because the Internet is one of her most favoritest forms of procrastination. In her free (ha!) time, Micol is teaching YA writing up and down the Eastern seaboard, and she recently earned an MFA in writing for children and young adults through Vermont College.
